Photoshop practice 1

I am trying to learn about make up stuff on photoshop, so please let me hear your critiques. Does it look realistic (relatively speaking, of course, since we're talking about glam shots)

Excellent first effort. If you had just posted the top image I would not have thought it was over-processed and at first glance it comes across looking good.

When looking at both together there is something slightly off about the processed one that I can't quite describe. I think it has to do with the lighting and shadow gradient over her skin tones - in the original the shadowing is more subtle and the processed one it is slightly too much - if you could try fading down the shadow areas a bit it might help but again it's hard to say exactly what is without seeing some other versions.

It also may be that as I mentioned above, seeing the processed one without the original would look perfectly fine but comparing them brings out some different thoughts.

Good job, I would add a little more shadow to the left side of her face to balance out the shadows on both sides, and the eye shine is a little bit harsh, play around with her eyes and see how it turns out.
